Geotechnical Onshore Investigation

On Tuesday, February 14, 2023, Commonwealth Wind consultant Stantec and their subcontractor undertook an inspection at the Dowses Beach culvert to support advanced design of the Commonwealth Wind project.

The team took two small geotechnical borings between the top of the box culvert and the pavement above within the Dowses Beach Causeway. This investigation will aid AVANGRID in the further development of its permit applications for Commonwealth Wind.
